General Assembly,
It is the view through culture and morality of many member nations that the production, advertisement, and use of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) are immoral tools of war and have capability to destroy the world as we know it.
Recognizing that member nations have right to govern their own military
Further recognizing that member nations find it necessary to manufacture WMDs as a means of deterrent from military attacks of other foreign nations
Defining Safe disposal of nuclear material to be buried in the Earth in remote areas at least 500 (five hundred) ft below the surface
Article I
Proposing that all WMDs be formally outlawed from manufacture and use
Proposing all nations currently possessing an arsenal of WMDs be subjected to mandatory dismantling and safe disposal of all material within three months overseen by a collection of 3 (three) World Assembly delegates not of origin to the nation being overseen.
Further Proposing that any nation found to have an arsenal of WMDs after the allotted time of three months be penalized by formal trial led by World Assembly delegates to punishment determined dependent on severity.
Article II
Proposing that all nuclear power plants be reduced in size and relocated to remote areas where the potential effects of military attack would not harm anybody by immediate blast or radiation resulting from the blast.
