To Dump Nuclear Waste Into Space

My reason for writing this is that a large number of nuclear waste has begun to build up and we can't just dump it in the streets. So my proposal is to dump it into space were it will not harm anyone except the aliens.
My first reason is that there is tons of space radiation so some extra won't hurt
Next is the waste will fly of to some other solar system
Also the projectory of the waste would point to a sun or black hole
