The act to create sanctions against the mistreatment of livestock within member nations and whilst travelling through international waters. This proposed act will ensure the correct treatment of livestock and prevent them from being shipped across international waters while alive.
The Act is intended to protect livestock causing some minor expenses for industry. The act is designed to not only protect livestock but to protect the environment by preventing excessive live shipping and construction of machinery to inhibit the movements of livestock.
This act prohibits:
- Sub-par conditions for livestock
- Live exports/imports
- Use of electrical weaponry in order to subdue creatures
- Any means of mutilation on livestock
And Enforces:
- A minimum livestock security act to be followed by all member nations
- A minimum amount of space for livestock to roam
- Strict regulations on the shipping of all types of Livestock
